Glover Chosen to NEILA All-New England Third Team

Amherst, Mass - May 14, 2019 - Springfield College's Cameron Glover (Brunswick, Maine) was selected to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-New England Third Team following a terrific final season for the Pride.

It was a fantastic senior year for Glover, and of the nine midfielders honored on the all-region team, Glover was on the only student-athlete chose who didn't play for a team from the NESCAC.  One of the Pride's captains this season, Glover played a significant role in the Pride earning a spot in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament field as Springfield earned an automatic bid into the national tournament after defeating Coast Guard, 12-10, in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship.  A Physical Education major, Glover found the back of the cage 27 times and totaled 42 points, including producing at least three points in nine games in 2019.  Thanks to his play in the NCAA Championship Second Round, where which he scored twice in the fourth quarter and netted the game-winner in overtime, the Pride knocked off 8th-ranked Ursinus, 16-15.

In four years with the Pride, Glover appeared in 51 games, totaling 80 points on 46 goals and 34 assists, to go along with 28 ground balls.
