After a decorated career between the pipes for the Pride, Jake Reynolds will join the Springfield College men's lacrosse coaching staff during the 2018-19 academic year.
The two-time NEWMAC Defensive Athlete of the Year, Reynolds totaled 211 saves during his senior season, which led to a save percentage of .558. He owned a 9.52 goals against average and had 15 games with double-digit saves, including four games with at least 15 saves, and was named the Most Outstanding Player of the NEWMAC Championship for the second time in three years.
Reynolds was also recognized with all-region honors from the NEILA and ECAC during his senior year, in addition to being a NEWMAC All-Conference First Team and NEILA Academic All-New England selection. On a national scale, Reynolds was one of only two goalkeepers to ever wear a Springfield College men's lacrosse jersey and earn multiple USILA All-America honors, as the netminder earned honorable mention recognition his junior and senior year. Reynolds was also just the third student-athlete in program history to earn the USILA academic recognition.
