Lewis Snags Second Honorable Mention All-America Accolade on Three-Meter at NCAA's

Shenandoah, Texas - March 21, 2015 - Jack Lewis (Durham, N.H.) earned his second Honorable Mention All-America honor of the week as he placed 15th on the three-meter board at the NCAA Division III Men's Swimming and Diving Championships at the Conroe ISD Natatorium on Saturday.   

The two-time New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Diver of the Year finished 15th as he registered a score of 458.30 in the consolation final.  Lewis just missed making the championship final after taking ninth in the prelims with a score of 480.10.

In the storied history of the Springfield College diving program, this marks the 57th All-America honor by a men's diver. Additionally, Lewis is the 20th student-athlete in program history to earn All-America honors, and joins a select group of just 13 men's diver to earn multiple All-America honors in their career as he concludes his incredible career at Springfield with three Honorable Mention All-America accolades.

In the pool, Michael Normoyle (Springfield, Mass.) raced in the 200 breast, and in the the morning prelims, Normoyle swam a 2:03.02 to take 17th out of 31 competitors in the event.  The Biology major was seeded 12th after posting a qualifying time of then school record time 2:02.23 when he won the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship in the event.
