Men's Swimming and Diving Competes in Tri-Meet with Wheaton and Keene State

Norton, Mass. - November 21, 2015 - The Springfield College men's swimming and diving team dropped a tri-meet to host Wheaton, 113-181, and Keene State, 206-94, on Saturday afternoon in Balfour Natatorium.  

The Pride was led by two first place finishes from Michael Normoyle (Springfield, Mass.) in the 100 breaststroke, with a time of 59.39, and in the 200 breaststroke, with a time of 2:13.17. 

In the 200 backstroke, Austin Von Heeringen (Germantown, Md.) touched the wall first in a time of 2:00.10. 

Kent Parsons (Hamilton, Mass.) had a strong showing in the 200 IM, placing second with a time of 2:02.56.  

Springfield will return to action again on Friday, December 4th for the Ithaca Invitational.
