DeVarennes Earns NEWMAC Men's Tennis All-Conference Singles Honors

Springfield, Mass. - May 9, 2017 - Springfield College's Tanner DeVarennes (Lee, Mass.) capped off his collegiate career by being selected to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Tennis All-Conference Singles Team.

The Sport Management major was a key reason why Springfield went 12-6 this season, collecting the most wins in Division III program history, and the most overall victories since 1992.   This marks the second-straight season that DeVarennes was honored with all-conference singles honors.

DeVarennes was one of eight student-athletes in the conference to earn all-conference honors for his performance in singles action.  The senior went 11-4 playing at the No. 1 singles spot for the Pride, including a 5-1 mark in conference play.
