Men's Cross Country Captures Team Title at Smith College Invitational

Northampton, Mass. - September 12, 2015 - The Springfield College men's cross country team won the Smith College Invitational on Saturday afternoon, as the Pride claimed the top three individual places.  

Johnny O'Hanlon (Haworth, N.J.) won the individual title with a 5K time of 16:47.0, followed by Jack Pinho (Prospect, Conn.) with a time of 17:03.6. Jacob Simons (Naugatuck, Conn.) rounded out the top three with a time of 17:27.8. 

Owen Ross (Closter, N.J.) placed 9th with a time of 18:01.6, while Brishen Dearborn (Wethersfield, Conn) placed 16th with a time of 18:41.9. 

The Pride won the meet with 30 points, follwed by Clark (32), Western New England (79), St. Anselm (83), Framingham St. (145), and Anna Maria (172). 

The Pride will race again Saturday, Sept. 19th at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational.
