Dartmouth, Mass. - September 19, 2015 - The Springfield College men's cross country team competed at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday. Reigning New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Runner of the Week sophomore Johnny O'Hanlon (Haworth, N.J.) led the Pride with a 19th individual place finish as completed the 8K in a time of 25:55.86 and a mile pace of 5:11.2.
Brandeis won the Invitational with 93 points, followed by East Stroudsburg (116), Connecticut College (125), Franklin Pierce (141) and Keene State with 176 points to round out the top five teams.
The next runner in for the Pride was senior Jacob Simons (Naugatuck, Conn.) finishing in a time of 27:26.02 and for 96th place. The Pride was rounded out by junior Brishen Dearborn (Wetherfield, Conn.) and freshmen Oliver Johnson (Monson, Mass.). Dearborn finished in 179th place with a time of 29:07.66 and Johnson finished in 253rd place with a time of 31:25.26.
