Men's Cross Country Races at ECAC Division III Championships

Williamstown, Mass. - November 7, 2015 - The Springfield College men's cross country team competed at the 2015 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championships hosted by Williams College on the 8K course at Mt. Greylock HS on Saturday. 

Ben Malin (Easton, Mass.) crossed the line first for the Pride in 31:16.11, taking 191st place, while Dave Ryskowski (Bristol, Conn.) finished in 32:45.31 and in 230th place. 

Next in for Springfield was Ben Burdick (Lanesborough, Mass.) coming in at 32:58.26 and in 236th place, followed closley by Tyler Cronin (Melrose, Mass.) and Oliver Johnson (Monson, Mass.). Cronin completed the course in 32:58.63 and in 237th place. Johnson finished in 33:02.76 and in 238th place. 

The Pride finished in 39th place overall with 1069 points, while Amherst won the championship with 53 points, followed by Williams (77), Middlebury (117), Colby (145), and Tufts (152). 

Up next, the Pride will compete in the NCAA Division III New England Regionals on Saturday, November 14th.
