Men's Cross Country Closes Out Season at NCAA Division III Regional Championships

Waterford, Conn. - November 14, 2015 - The Springfield College men's cross country completed its 2015 season on Saturday at the NCAA Division III New England Regional Championships at Harkness Memorial State Park hosted by Connecticut College.

The Pride competed on an 8K course and placed 36th overall with 998 points. 

Sophomore Johnny O'Hanlon (Haworth, N.J.) was the top finisher for Springfield in 26:09.9, while next for the Pride, was classmate Jack Pinho (Prospect, Conn.) in 26:48.6. Junior Ben Malin (Easton, Mass.) crossed the line next in 28:34.8, followed by Tyler Cronin (Melrose, Mass.) in 29:28.8. 

Finishing fifth for the Pride was Oliver Johnson (Monson, Mass.) in 29:50.5. 

Williams won the championships with 67 points, while Amherst (68), Tufts (80), Wesleyan (114), and MIT (128) rounded out the top five.
