Men's Cross Country Finishes 14th at Connecticut College Invitational

Waterford, Conn. - October 15, 2016 - The Springfield College men's cross country team finished 14th out of 20 teams competiting at the Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday at Harkness Memorial State Park. 

The Pride finished with 371 points, running an 8k course in Saturday's competition.

Junior Jack Pinho (Prospect, Conn.) was the Pride's top runner of the afternoon, as he crossed the finish line in 26:27.80, and was closely followed by teammate Johnny O'Hanlon (Haworth, N.J.), who finished in 26:40.5.

Next, senior Ben Malin (North Easton, Mass.) crossed in 27:25.0 to register the Pride's third finish of the day, as he was followed by Tyler Cronin (Melrose, Mass.), who crossed in 27:42.7 and Chris Tringali (Millville, Mass.), who notched a time of 28:49.60.

The Pride will now prepare to compete in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC)  Saturday, Oct. 29.
