    Springfield, Mass. - April 21, 2018 - For the second time this season, senior attacker Shelby Corsano (Bourne, Mass.) etched her name into the Springfield College women's lacrosse program's record book, as she earned six points to push her career total to 221, surpassing Holly Carmody '06, who had 220 points from 2003-2006. With Corsano's six-point effort, the Pride was able to defeat Wellesley, 20-4, in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play on Saturday afternoon at Stagg Field.

With the win, the Pride is now 9-5 overall and 4-1 in league play, while the Lyons are now 6-7 with a 3-1 mark against league opponents.
