Coady Earns Conference and Regional Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week Honors

Springfield, Mass. - October 5, 2016 - Springfield College's Mikaela Coady (Middletown, Conn.) has been recognized as both the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Week as well as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Corvias New England Offensive Player o the Week.

Coady, a Physician Assistant major at Springfield College,  helped lead the Springfield College women's soccer team to a pair of wins this past week, as she registered all three goals for the Pride. In a 2-1 win over UMass Dartmouth, Coady notched her second and third goals of the year, before scoring in the 31st minute in a rematch of last year's NEWMAC Championship on Saturday, in which the Pride defeated Babson College, 1-0.

This week, Coady, along with the rest of the Pride, will host Smith College on Tuesday at 7 p.m. before returning to Brock-Affleck Field on Saturday when it will take on Wheaton.
