Springfield, Mass. - November 13, 2017 - Springfield College is excited to serve as host for the 2017 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Women's Soccer Championship Tournament, hosted on Brock-Affleck Field from Saturday, November 18 through Sunday, November 19.
The Pride, which is currently 15-6-1 on the year, was chosen as the overall top seed in the ECAC Division III Tournament for the second season in a row, and will host Albright, which is currently 12-8-1 on the year and advanced to the ECAC Semifinals with wins over Juniata and Penn State Harrisburg this past weekend. The two sides will play on Saturday, November 18 at 11 a.m. for the chance to advance to the ECAC Championship on Sunday, November 19. The other semifinal, which will feature NYU (12-5-3) and Grove City (17-5), will take place on Brock-Affleck Field at 2 p.m. NYU advanced to the ECAC Semifinals with wins over William Paterson and Farleigh-Dickinson University, while Grove City bested Fransiscan and Frostburg State to punch their ticket to Springfield College.
