Springfield, Mass. - November 19, 2018 - For the second-straight week, Springfield College's Sierra Skaza (Belchertown, Mass.) was honored by the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) for her excellence on the diving boards. Skaza was again named the NEWMAC Women's Diver of the Week, marking the third time this season that she has been recognized.
Skaza captured first-place points on the one-meter board with a national mark of 272.10 and later won the three-meter with a 274.58, another national-qualifying score, to highlight Springfield's efforts against Williams on Friday. In a tri-meet with Keene and Wheaton on Saturday, the Psychology major delivered a national-qualifying mark of 300.30 to win the three-meter and also scored a national-score of 269.35 on the one-meter.
