Cambridge, Mass. - March 1, 2019 - A pair of Springfield College women's divers competed on the one-meter board at the 2019 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Diving Regional Championship, which took place at the Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center Pool at MIT.
A total of 22 women's diver are competing for seven spots from the region to earn a bid to the 2019 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, which will be held on March 20-23, 2019, at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
On Friday afternoon, Bailee Carey (Quincy, Mass.) finished 15th with a score of 372.05, while Sierra Skaza (Belchertown, Mass.) was in the top 10 with just three dives to go before injuring herself on the ninth dive. She finished the competition with 300.80 points.
