Williamstown, Mass. - May 13, 2017 - Competing against student-athletes from Division I, II and III, standout junior Courtney Luscier (Pittsfield, Mass.) notched a career-best 12.12 in the 100 meter dash highlighting the Springfield College women's track and field team's weekend at the All New England Championships, hosted at Williams College.
Luscier crossed the finish line in 12.12 seconds on Friday in the 100 meter prelims to enter Saturday ranked No. 2 overall, and finished fifth in the event with a time of 12.35 on Saturday to lead the Pride on the weekend. With a 12.12, Luscier currently ranks No. 22 in all of Division III.
Also competing this weekend was senior Carly Markos (Wallkill, N.Y.), who took 14th overall in the hammer throw with a heave of 161 feet, 9 inches, while Kathryn Rowe (Marshfield, Mass.) finished the 200 meter dash prelims with a time of 26.26. Luscier also competed in the 200 prelims and crossed in 25.80 seconds.
Up next, Springfield College will compete in the ECAC Championships from May 17-18 at Westfield State University.
