Women's Cross Country Finishes Season at NCAA Division III Regional Championships

Brunswick, Maine - November 11, 2017 - The Springfield College women's cross country team raced at the NCAA Division III Regional Championships on Saturday morning, as the Pride took 28th overall on the 6k course, hosted at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.

The Pride totaled 876 points in the race, as MIT won with 87 points and was trailed by Middlebury (108), Williams (115), Brandeis (136) and Tufts (159).

Senior Kristen Madeia (Berlin, Conn.) was the Pride's top finisher with a time of 24:17.38, while she was followed by Hannah Wunderlich (Methuen, Mass.), who was the Pride's second finisher with a time of 24:42.02. Next, Abigail Murdock (Westerly, R.I.) crossed in 25:00.07, while she was closely followed by Heather Fontaine (Brimfield, Mass.), who completed the course in 25:17.74. Next for the Pride was Aly Coyle (Pembroke, Mass.), who clocked in at 25:19.24.
