    Springfield, Mass. - October 22, 2019 - In a rematch of last year's conference championship match, the Springfield College women's volleyball team was bested by nationally-ranked Babson in New England Women's and Men's Atheltic Conference (NEWMAC) play in Blake Arena on Tuesday.  Babson won by the scores of 25-16, 16-25, 25-17, 25-19.

    Springfield, Mass. - October 21, 2019 - After helping the Springfield College defeat Merchant Marine on Saturday, three members of the football program were recognized by the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC).  Tim Callahan (Enfield, Conn.) was named the NEWMAC Offensive Athlete of the Week, Christian Hutra (Holmes, N.Y.) was tabbed the NEWMAC Special Teams Athlete of the Week, and AJ Smith (Rahway, N.J.) was chosen as the NEWMAC Defensive Athlete of the Week.

    Kings Point, N.Y. - October 19, 2019 - The Springfield College football team scored a season-high 45 points as it rolled past Merchant Marine, 45-34, in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) on Saturday at Brooks Stadium. In defeat, the Mariners drop to 4-2 (3-1 NEWMAC) on the season, while the Pride won for the third-straight game to improve to 4-3 (3-1 NEWMAC) with the victory.
