Emerson Edges No. 19 Men's Basketball, 74-70

Springfield, Mass. - January 15, 2020 - In a rematch of last year's New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship Semifnal, the Springfield College men's basketball team was edged by Emerson, 74-70, in Brown & Plfoker Gym.

Men's Swimming and Diving Clipped by Wesleyan and Roger Williams

Middletown, Conn. - January 18, 2020 - The Springfield College men's swimming and diving team was edged in a tri-meet with Roger Williams and Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon.  Wesleyan prevailed by a score of 149-144, while Roger Williams clipped the Pride, 156-138.

Lewis Chosen As ECAC Men's Gymnast of the Week

Danbury, Conn. - January 16, 2020 - Following an impressive season debut last weekend, Springfield College's Stephen Lewis (Baltimore, Md.) was selected as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Men's Gymnast of the Week.

Swetland, Dale, and Conley Named To NEWISA All-Region First Team

Springfield, Mass. - January 15, 2020 -  Senior defender Chrissy Conley (Bristol, R.I.), sophomore midfielder Kaleigh Dale (Mansfield, Conn.), and junior forward Sara Swetland (Manchester, N.H.) of the Springfield College women's soccer program were all named to the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer (NEWISA) All-Region First-Team for their major contributions to the Pride's 2019 success. 

Ross Chosen To Bevo Francis Award Top 100 Watch List

Baldwin City, Kan. - January 15, 2020 - Springfield College's Jake Ross (Northampton, Mass.) was named to Small College Basketball's first Watch List for the Bevo Francis Award of 2020, consisting of 100 of the finest men's basketball players in the country who compete in the affiliations of NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA Division I, NAIA Division II, USCAA and NCCAA.

Springfield, Mass. - December 13, 2020 - After another standout week of performances, Springfield College's Connor Pennington (Monson, Mass.) and Heath Post (Cheshire, Conn.) were recognized by the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference.
