Marlborough, Mass. - November 3, 2025 - Springfield College junior diver Christian Butler (North Haven, Conn.) picked up right where he left off last season and has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Diver of the Week.

Butler began his junior season on Saturday by sweeping both boards against No. 7 nationally-ranked MIT. Butler recorded a first-place score of 285.15 on the 3-meter board and a first-place mark of 273.01 on the 1-meter board, accounting for 18 of Springfield's 91 points scored in the dual with the Engineers.

Springfield will host nationally-ranked No. 24 Coast Guard on Saturday, November 8 at 11:00 am.
