Ryan Coale will enter his first season as a graduate assistant coach with the Springfield College baseball team during the 2018-19 academic year. A native of Lexington, Va., Coale will also be working towards a Master's degree in Athletic Administration.
Coale comes to Springfield College after graduating from James Madison University with a degree in Sport and Recreation Management and a minor in Business in 2018. Coale played two seasons for the Dukes following a stint at Patrick Henry Community College, where he earned All-America accolades. A catcher and an outfielder at James Madison, Coale played in a total of 67 games and had 47 starts.
