  • Giorgio Invited to New Orleans Saints Rookie Minicamp

    Springfield, Mass. - May 8, 2019 - Following a tremendous career at Springfield College, Nick Giorgio (Cumberland, R.I.) has been invited to to attend the New Orleans Saints Rookie Minicamp. The Saints will try out a number of rookies and veteran free agents on May 10-12.
  • Giorgio Works Out For NFL Scouts at Harvard Pro Day

    Cambridge, Mass. - March 21, 2019 - Springfield College's Nick Giorgio (Cumberland, R.I.) was one of 11 players to participate in Harvard University's Football Pro Day at Palmer Dixon Strength & Conditioning Center and Mignone Field.  Giorgio was one of just three Division III student-athletes from the area to earn the opportunity to work out.

  • Martin Chosen To Attend NCAA Convention As Part of Division III Student Immersion Program

    Springfield, Mass. - December 12, 2018 - Springfield College junior Shamar Martin (Hartford, Conn.) was selected to attend the 2019 NCAA Division III Student Immersion Program this January in conjunction with the NCAA Convention in Orlando, Fla.  Martin was one of only 40 Division III student-athletes accepted into the program.

    Springfield, Mass. - November 3, 2018 - Senior fullback Joshua Thomas (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) rushed for three touchdowns to lead the Springfield College football team to a dominating 44-7 win over Maine Maritime in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play at Stagg Field on Saturday afternoon. Prior to Saturday's game, the Pride recognized the 26 members of it's senior class.
