    Danbury, Conn. - December 18, 2019 - Springfield College had a pair of student-athletes earn postseason recognition from the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) as Nick Bainter (East Bridgewater, Mass.) and AJ Smith (Rahway, N.J.) collected ECAC Division IIII Football All-ECAC honors.

    Austin, Texas. - December 11, 2019 - Springfield College was once again represented on the 2019 Academic All-America® Division III football teams, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), and the Pride's John Cox (Stratford, Conn.) was among the 25 student-athletes nationwide that was selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team.

  • Smith Selected To Attend NCAA Convention As Part of Division III Student Immersion Program

    Springfield, Mass. - October 24, 2019 - Springfield College junior AJ Smith (Rahway, N.J.) was selected to attend the 2020 NCAA Division III Student Immersion Program this January in conjunction with the NCAA Convention in Anaheim, Calif.  Smith was one of only 40 Division III student-athletes accepted into the program.

    Springfield, Mass. - October 21, 2019 - After helping the Springfield College defeat Merchant Marine on Saturday, three members of the football program were recognized by the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC).  Tim Callahan (Enfield, Conn.) was named the NEWMAC Offensive Athlete of the Week, Christian Hutra (Holmes, N.Y.) was tabbed the NEWMAC Special Teams Athlete of the Week, and AJ Smith (Rahway, N.J.) was chosen as the NEWMAC Defensive Athlete of the Week.

In defeat, the Mariners drop to 4-2 (3-1 NEWMAC) on the season, while the Pride won for the third-straight game to improve to 4-3 (3-1 NEWMAC) with the victory.
