Max Soifer will begin his second season as a graduate assistant coach with the Springfield College men's gymnastics program for the 2019-20 academic year.  A native of Tacoma, Wash., Soifer graduated from the University of Washington in 2017 with a degree in Law, Societies, and Justice. 

Soifer served as the 20th World Maccabiah Games team captain in helping his squad to a second-place finish as a team while he personally took third in both the all-around competition and on the pommel horse.  Most recently, Soifer was on staff at the University of Illinois and was the Director of Opetions in helping the squad to a Big Ten Championship.  As a student-athlete, Soifer was a captain of the University of Washington men's gymnastics team in 2017.

He will be working on a Masters in Business Adminstration as well as a degree in Athletic Administration while at Springfield.
