Men's Tenins Competes In Connecticut College Invitational

New London, Conn. - September 16, 2017 - The Springfield College men's tennis team competed in the Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday and had several standout showings.

In doubles play, the team of Sean Quirk (Mashpee, Mass.) and Freddie Moffa (Granby, Conn.) picked up wins over teams from Hunter College's Filip Koritysskiy and Joes Agregado as well as Muhlenberg's Gavin Meyer and Jonathan Yandel .  Alex Romaine (Stamford, Conn.) earned a hard-fought 6-2,4-6,10-6 win in the singles "A" flight against Nesser Ghaffer from Hunter, while Court Honda (Marioka, Japan) produced a 6-4,6-0 win in his first match of the "B" flight versus Alex Dugilis of Muhlenberg. 

This upcoming Wednesday, Springfield will travel to face off with Williams starting at 4 pm.
