Men's Tennis Earns 6-3 Victory Over Endicott

Springfield, Mass. - October 6, 2019 - Competing for the final time this semester, the Springfield College men's tennis team defeated Endicott College, 6-3, on Sunday at Appleton Courts. 

The win boosted Springfield's record to 4-2 as Springfield picked up its second win of the weekend. 

Jack Wheeler (Irvine, Calif.) and Fabian Jensen (Stavanger, Norway) cruised to an 8-1 win at the No. 1 spot in doubles spot, and the duo of Freddie Moffa (Granby, Conn.) and Jack Anastopoulos (Chestnut Hill, Mass.) eased to an 8-2 victory while competing at No. 3. 

 Hieu Ton (Rocky Hill, Conn.) made quick work of his opponent at No. 5 with a 6-0, 6-0 win, while Anastopoulos followed with a 6-0, 6-1 triumph of his own at No. 6.  Michael Kendrick (Albany, N.Y.) added a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 3 and Jensen delivered a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 2.
