Conley and Kerr Selected For NEWISA Senior Bowl Game

Springfield, Mass. - December 2, 2019 - Senior defender Chrissy Conley (Bristol, R.I.) and tri-captain Nikki Kerr (Manchester, Conn.) have been selected to play in the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl, which will be played at Merrimack College on December 7 at 12 p.m.

The pair of Conley and Kerr are among 12 student-athletes from the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) that will be playing in the game. Springfield is one of three schools from the NEWMAC to have at least two student-athletes selected for the Senior Bowl. This selection marks the third-straight year that the Pride have at least two student-athletes in the game. 

Kerr and Conley, were leaders on the backline that produced seven shutout victories and held a goals against average of 1.25 per game. The Pride finished the season with a record of 14-7-3 and earned an appearance in the ECAC Championship Tournament Final for the third time in four seasons.
