Springfield, Mass. — September 12, 2026 — The Springfield College men's soccer team fell to Suffolk on Saturday night on Brock-Aflleck Field, 2-1.
The Rams improve to 3-1-1 while the Pride drop to 1-2-1 overall.
The long goal of the game was scored in just the 16th minute as Mohamed Mehaya passed the ball to Dylan Trachtenberg who sent a ball near the far side post the Zach Vlachos was able to knock in, in what would be ultimate game winner. Springfield had its best chances in the second half, but the Suffolk defense held it down until time expired.
Goalkeeper
Tommy Fenton (East Hampton, Conn.) had six saves in the loss as Suffolk outshot Springfield 16-10 but the Pride held a 5-2 edge in corner kicks.
Springfield will host Stevens on Tuesday at 7:00 pm on Brock-Affleck Field.
