Billy Carr of the football team has been named the Springfield College Maroon Club Student-Athlete of the Week.

In helping the football team secure their fourth-straight NEWMAC Championship over the weekend in a 55-20 victory against Maritime. Carr notched 12 tackles, including nine solo stops, added a pass breakup, and scooped up an attepted onside kick to score a special teams touchdown to seal the Pride's 26th-straight conference win.
