Kassidy Carrano of the women's basketball team has been named the Springfield College Maroon Club Student-Athlete of the Week.

Carrano totaled 21 total points on the week including a career-high 18 in the 72-71 win over Williams College. The sophomore also added a trio of points for the Pride in a 51-48 victory over Amherst, the first win for Springfield in LeFrak Gymnasium since 1998.
