Kay Shen of the women's swimming and diving team has been named the Springfield College Maroon Club Student-Athlete of the Week.

Shen had an outstanding weekend at the Gompei Invitational as she placed first in both the 50-free and 100-free in addition to swimming on all five relay squads. The 400-free relay, 200-medley relay, 200-free relay all placed fourth among Division I programs, while the 800-free relay took fifth as the Pride finished fourth overall in the team standings.
