Angie Czeremcha of the women's basketball team has been named as Springfield College's Maroon Club Student-Athlete of the Week.

Czeremcha guided the women's basketball team to a 1-1 record at this week's Naismith Classic which featured a thrilling double overtime victory against Middlebury College. Czeremcha registered 20 points, 19 rebounds and four steals and broke the single game program record for free throw attempts with 17 before adding nine points, 11 rebounds and two steals against Tufts in the title game. For her efforts, Czeremcha was named to the All-Tournament Team.
