Springfield College

Gianni Manginelli of the wrestling team has been chosen as a Springfield College Maroon Club Student-Athlete of the Week.

Manginelli, who is ranked 11th in the nation at 133 pounds, was dominant in helping the Pride to a 23-13 win over Roger Williams in their annual Friday Night Lights dual.  The graduate student produced a 19-3 technical fall in the second match of the evening to set the tone in Springfield's victory.
