Will McKay of the football team has been chosen as a Springfield College Maroon Club Student-Athlete of the Week.

McKay led a Springfield defensive unit that played a critical role in the Pride retaining the Pynchon SAW Trophy as it defeated WNE, 28-14. McKay totaled seven tackles, forced two fumbles, and recovered a fumble as he keyed a defense that limited the Golden Bears to just 4-for-15 on third down.
