Parker Thornton of the men's soccer team has been chosen as a Springfield College Maroon Club Student-Athlete of the Week.

Thornton delivered the first goal of the day and helped set the tone versus Salve Regina in Springfield's regular-season finale on Saturday as the Pride battled to a 2-1 victory to clinch a spot in the upcoming NEWMAC Championship Tournament.
