Michael Scott of the men's track and field program has been named the Springfield College Maroon Club Student-Athlete of the Week.

At the Bomber Invitational, Scott won the 60 meter dash with a record-breaking time of 6.85, which bested the previous mark of 6.86 that Stephen Headley ran in 2008. To date, it's the 12th fastest time in Division III this season.
