The NCAA allows a Division III Student-Athlete to fill out a self-release if he/she is interested in pursuing a transfer to another Division III school. This self-release is good for 30 days.
During this time, no one will know you are looking into a transfer. After 30 days, if the student-athlete wants to continue investigating his/her options with the school, the student-athlete must sign a second release.  After the original 30 days, the transfer can become public knowledge.
If you are interested in transferring to a Division I or Division II school, please contact the Compliance Officer, Michelle Lee Scecina.Â
