In 2019, Sean McCleary will begin his first year as a graduate assistant coach at Springfield College and work primarily with the defensive line.  The Olney, Maryland native will be pursuing a Masters in Athletic Administration as a graduate student on Alden Street. 

McCleary came to Springfield College after two years at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where he helped the Engineers to a pair of Liberty League Championships and appearances in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.  In 2018, McCleary aided RPI in reaching the NCAA Quarterfinals and coached All-America offensive tackle, Chris Neu.  McCleary completed his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management from State University of New York at Albany in 2017, and spent two years as a student assistant with the Great Danes football program.
