Springfield College

Sean Martin will begin his sixth season with the Springfield College men's basketball program as an assistant coach for the 2021-22 academic year.  A native of Rindge, N.H., Martin was a standout point guard for Springfield College, twice earning New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-Conference honors as he helped lead the Pride to three-straight NCAA Division III Championship appearances.  

A two-year captain and CoSIDA Academic All-District selection at Springfield, Martin earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied Exercise Science in 2014, and earned a Masters degree in Business Administration in 2016. Martin became the 29th student-athlete in the history of the men's basketball program at Springfield College to eclipse the 1000-point plateau, and finished his career with 1,054 points, 420 rebounds, 388 assists and 228 steals.
