2019-20: Appeared in all nine matches for the Pride during their shortened season... Jakarie set a career-high in the Vault competition, achieving a 14.20 during the West Point Open... He also set two career-highs in the Floor Excercise and High Bar competitions in a win over Temple and the University of Washington... Jakarie scored a 13.25 on the Floor Exercise and a 13.00 on the High Bar competition.

High School: Attended Woodland where he won four letters competing in men's gymnastics.

Personal: Son of Tamika Whitehead... has one sibling named James and Jaquavious Hood... Majoring in Health Science.
