Springfield College Director of Athletics, Dr. Craig Poisson, announced on July 17, 2017 that Ryon Lynch '14 G'17 was named a full-time assistant coach for the Springfield College men's lacrosse program.

After a decorated four-year career with the Springfield College men's lacrosse program from 2010-2014, Lynch served as a graduate assistant with Springfield for the 2016 and 2017 campaigns, where he focused on the offensive side of the ball. During his time at Springfield, Lynch earned his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and his Master's degree in Athletic Administration.

A two-time Pilgrim Lacrosse League Player of the Year while playing attack for the Pride, Lynch capped off his illustrious career with 84 points, including 32 goals and 52 assists during his senior season. His 84 points were the seventh most in the program's single-season history, while in his career, Lynch totaled 227 points, the sixth-most in program history. A USILA Honorable Mention All-America selection in 2014, Lynch's 133 careers assists is the third-highest total in Springfield history.

"Ryon has tremendous energy and knowledge of the game and I am so fortunate to have him on board in this full-time capacity alongside our other talented coaches," said Springfield College head men's lacrosse coach Keith Bugbee.  "I want to thank our administration in supporting these positions, as it speaks to their commitment for excellence at Springfield College."
