Biography

2015-16: Named AVCA First-Team All-American at season's end ... also earned ECAC First-Team All-Region honors ... had a breakout junior season for the Pride and led an offense that had the top team hitting percentage in all of college volleyball at .382 ... finished second in the country with 11.21 assists per game and registered 103 digs, 48 blocks, and 15 aces this season.

2014-15: Played in 16 matches on the season...Recorded 199 assists, 30 digs, and eight blocks... Posted a season-high 36 assists against Johnson & Wales (3/7).

2013-14: Saw action in 19 matches as a freshman... Was second on the team with 361 assists... Also contributed 20 kills, 46 digs and 20 blocks... Posted a career-high 47 assists, eight digs, and three blocks in a win over UC Santa Cruz (2/21). 

High School: Played four years of volleyball at Colegio Marista under Coach Juan Aviles... Also played basketball.

Personal: Son of Maria and Gilberto Rubio... Majoring in Business Management.
