Jill Serafino

Jill Serafino will enter her third season as the full-time assistant coach of the Springfield College women's soccer team in the fall of 2021. 

Most recently, Serafino was the head coach of the Simpson College women's soccer program from 2015-2018. Hired as the program's fifth head coach on Jan. 29, 2015, Serafino led the Storm to a five-win campaign in 2015, the most for the program since 2012. 
 
Prior to her time with the Storm, Serafino was largely involved with the women's soccer program at Springfield College as a graduate assistant coach from 2012 to 2014. During that time, Serafino helped lead the Pride to three-consecutive New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) titles and NCAA Division III Championship Tournament appearances. Before coming to Springfield College, Serafino was an assistant coach at American International College and at the University of Albany.

 Outside of the collegiate landscape, Serafino has also been a head coach and is the currect General Manager for the New England Mutiny in the United Women's Soccer league, as well as a youth head coach at various premier clubs in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Serafino currently holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in school counseling, as well as an M. Ed in Athletic Counseling, both from Springfield College. Serafino also earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychophysiology and Fitness Management from the University of Massachusetts.
