Springfield College

Pankil Chander begins his second  season with the Springfield College wrestling program as a graduate assistant coach for the 2021-22 campaign as he pursues a Master's degree in Athletic Administration.

Chander comes to Alden Street after assistant coaching stints at Bloomsburg University and Gettysburg College.  Prior to beginning his coaching career, Chander attended Wilkes University, where he was a four-year letterwinner and standout on the mat while earning a Bachelor's degree of Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Sports Management.  As a student-athlete, Chander was a NWCA Scholar All-American and a four-year starter for the Wilkes Colonels that were ranked nationally in each of his four seasons. 

At Springfield, Chander will be tasked with training/coaching student-athletes, recruiting, roster management & retention, external outreach for service projects, and marketing of the program.
