Jacob DiRenzo is a graduate student at Springfield College pursuing a Master’s degree in Athletic Leadership. A native of Clifton Park, New York, DiRenzo earned his Bachelor of Science in Movement and Sports Studies with a minor in Athletic Coaching from Springfield College, graduating with honors. He is currently the Outside Linebackers Coach for Springfield College Football, recruiting across the North Shore of Massachusetts, Northern New England, and the Orlando/Tampa area of Florida.
Before his current role, DiRenzo served as the Fullbacks Coach at Springfield, contributing to a dominant run that included a fourth straight NEWMAC Championship and an NCAA Elite Eight appearance in 2024. Prior to his return last season he has also coached at the University at Albany as an Assistant Offensive Line Coach during their 2023 CAA Championship and FCS Final Four season.
