Springfield College

Max Berkowitz enters his second year as the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications at Springfield College.

Berkowitz comes to Alden Street after previously serving as the Sports Information Director at FDU-Florham since 2021.  Prior to his time in New Jersey, Berkowitz was a Sports Information Assistant at MIT for six years.  

Berkowitz graduated from Lasell in 2015 with a Bachelor's in Sport Management and earned his Masters in Athletic Administration from Endicott in 2019.  During his time at FDU and MIT, Berkowitz served as the primary media relations and game management contact for a wide variety of sports, and hosted and covered a number of conference, regional, and national championship events.  In addition to his efforts at FDU-Florham and MIT, Berkowitz has gained additional experience as an official scorer within Major League Lacrosse, the Cape Cod Baseball League, and Minor League Baseball.
