Norton, Mass. - October 10, 2015 - The Springfield College women's soccer program posted a 0-0 draw with Wheaton College in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play on Saturday afternoon in Norton, Mass.

With the tie, Springfield is now 7-3-2 on the season, and 3-1-1 in conference action, while Wheaton now stands at 7-5-1 overall and 1-2-1 in the NEWMAC.

Sophomore goalkeeper Ciara Boucher (Manchester, Conn.) started for the Pride, as she registered four saves over 110:00 of play, while her counterpart, Leann Wolf (Santa Maria, Calif.) made five stops on the afternoon. Springfield held a narrow 16-15 advantage in shots in the contest, while both sides finished with four corner kicks apiece.

For Springfield, senior forward Krissy Cicalis (Bridgewater, Mass.) led the Pride with five shots, two of which were on goal, while Jessica Miller (Southbury, Conn.) finished with four shots of her own.

Up next, the Pride will host Clark on Tuesday, October 13 at 7 p.m. on Brock-Affleck Field.
