Springfield would extend its lead to four in the top of the third, when Webb went opposite field to drive in Drobiak, who singled to lead off the rally, before Moquin picked up her second RBI of the morning when she grounded out to short, scoring Melissa Nelson (Milford, Conn.) from third.
Dickinson would rally in the bottom of the sixth, when Nicole Torlincasi (Kings Park, N.Y.) led off the inning with a single, before Nicole Piet (Robbinsville, N.J.) drove a single to left three batters later, scoring Torlincasi to cut its deficit to three. Allen would get out of the jam with a strikeout, holding the Red Devils to just the one run in the frame.

With sophomore transfer Kayla Padroff (Southington, Conn.) on third base and one out, sophomore Mackenzie Navarro (Taunton, Mass.) drove a ball deep to left field, which was caught, but Padroff was able to cross the plate in the bottom of the ninth inning to lead the Pride to a walk-off victory.
