In 11 games, Shtefan carried the ball 216 times for 1,272 yards, averaging just under six yards per carry. He found the end zone nine times and was selected as the NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Year after helping Springfield win its third-straight conference title.Â
This season, Evans and Dipasquale led an offensive line that has rushed for over 380 yards per game, which ranked tops in Division III and second in all of college football. The duo paved the way for the Pride's offense, which ranked in the top 10 nationally in time of possession, tackles for loss allowed, fourth down conversion percentage, and passing yards per completion.
Hart was spectacular in the backfield in his senior campaign, rushing for 12 touchdowns and 798 yards as he averaged 11.7 yards per carry. In leading the Springfield offense for the first time at quarterback, Silvester earned his first regional honor after totaling 11 rushing touchdowns and 589 yards on the ground to go along with five passing touchdowns.Â
Maurer ranked second on the team with 52 tackles to go along with an interception and forced fumble, while also averaging over 16 yards per punt return with a special teams score, while Lewin topped the team with 91 tackles, including 49 solo stops, to go along with a pair of recovered fumbles.Â
In his eighth season at the helm of the Pride, Cerasuolo previously earned his fourth NEWMAC Coach of the Year honors this fall. This marks the second regional coach of the year honor that Cerasuolo has earned in his time as the Pride's head coach as he was named the The Gridiron Club of Great Boston Division II/III New England Coach of the Year in 2017. Under his leadership, Springfield has won its last 19 conference games and has played in the NCAA national tournament the last three years.Â
