Springfield's best chance to score came from NEWMAC Rookie of the Year Mia Salmon (Arlington, Va.) when she went 1-on-1 with Hartford keeper Sejal Johnson in the 29th minute, but her attempt was stopped on a diving save. Johnson and the Hawks did not allow a goal in six straight matches to end the season dating back to October 23 - a span of 575:29 minutes of play, while outscoring their opponents over the stretch by a 29-0 margin.
